Dealing with hair style changes

I don’t really give so much fuss with my hair. Normally, I just go to a salon at least every quarter for a treatment or look for the best shampoo or conditioner that will suite my hair type. It is as simple as that not until last year when I had changed my hairstyle twice in that same year, out of boredom and the most usual cause… stress.

From having it rebonded, I decided to have my hair digitally permed. I love the result for it gave me a totally brand new look, even a better perspective in life. Truly, as the saying goes, “Hair brings one’s self-image into focus; it is vanity’s proving ground.”

The problem about having it permed are the frizz and dryness that at first I can’t really solve. At times, I felt frustrated for I find it unmanageable.

A friend of mine told me that Kevin Murphy hair products can also help me manage my curly hair. She said that the hair products contain high levels of natural ingredients and we’ll help me see the result right away.
But what helped me to manage it is the Redken hair product Curvaceous Full Swirl which is a 2-in-1 serum formula that fights frizz, seals in moisture and locks out humidity. I didn’t have frizz the entire day, and I so love it.
Yeah, it made my life a lot easier but after six months of yearning for more changes, I decided to have it rebonded and colored again.

Still, at times I miss the waves and the curls. And I’m so glad that my mom bought me ghd IV, a styling tool from GHD Australia, which is indeed what I really needed. If I want it curly then I have it just the way I like it. If I want it straighter, it brings me straight satisfaction until the last strand of my hair.

Now, I am happy with my straight ash blonde hair that brings more vigor to my life each day. I fully appreciate how my hair gives me the positive mood to embrace the mornings with a smile.

Indeed, change is inevitable. Sometimes, to be able to make bigger leaps, we need to start with simpler ones like that of hair. Somehow, I realized that it is not just my hair that changes every time I change its style or color. Along with it is my self-image and outlook in life. And in every decision whether it’s a matter of life or death or just a petty one, we need to ask ourselves first, “How will it affect me? Is it what I really want? or Is it what is right?” For in life, not everything can be undone. Unlike my hair which I can switch from straight to curl, some things in life once twisted cannot be easily straighten out. And even we use the best treatment in the world, damage is done… can’t be undone. Good thing what concerns me now is just my hair… and I’m happy with what I have now. ☺ Found the hair products @ http://www.myhaircare.com.au
